ProRoot MTA is based on tricalcium silicate. It is a bactericide with a pH value of 12, 13 with water. ProRoot MTA is a permanent root repair material for indications such as: repair of perforations pulp cutting, repair of root resorption, retrograde root filling, apex fixation, internal resorption. Comes in packs of either 4x 0.5g or 10x 0.5g, separate powder and sterile water to be mixed manually. The consistency in pasta form remains soft.

- Apical plug during apexification
- Repair of root perforations during root canal therapy

- Antimicrobial.
- Harden in the presence of moisture.
